Elements of Witchcraft - Course Outline

The course takes place over six weeks and kicks off with an optional face-to-face workshop in lovely community hall in Church Village near Pontypridd.

There is then six weeks of specially developed online content - fully coached every step of the way and with a live video lecture or Q&A session each week. In addition there are daily discussions, exercises, and articles to read. Each week we focus on one of the four elements - slowly building up a tool kit of foundational witchcraft skills. By the end of the course you will have experienced the power of each element, and be able to use each in practical magical workings.

The course is now fully booked! However we have started a wait list so you can be the first to know when it runs again.

Week 1 - Introduction!

This week we will introduce a number of foundation skills and exercises ,  spending more time outdoors and beginning to recognise the  elements manifesting in our day to day lives.

Week 2 - Earth: Connecting with the Land

This week we will focus on the element of Earth and how we can work with the spirits of earth, of plants, and of our local area. We will explore the concept of the genus loci, and consider practical ways of working with the land.

Week 3 - Water: Times and Tides

As well as working with the element and spirits of Water, this week we will consider the times and tides of witchcraft - the seasonal rhythms and the cycles of the Moon.

Week 4 - Air: Breathing with Spirits

This week we will consider the magical breath, the spirits of Air, and explore in more depth what or who the spirits are , and how they can become allies of the Witch.

Week 5 - Fire: Magic of the Hearth

This week our attention focuses inwards , to the very centre point of the Witch's life: the Hearth Fire.  We will work with the sacred fire, its spirits, and its powers .

Week 6 - Putting in All together!

In this final consolidation week we will review everything we have learnt, and make plans for how we can use it in our everyday magical practices.
